The grounds are semi-wooded and provide a very
secluded atmosphere. There are areas provided
for picnics, large gas barbeque grills, a newly
renovated children’s playground, and a small
basketball court. Our lakefront property has a
sandy beach (not recommended for swimming) and
a bonfire pit with benches. To the east is Round
Island, a very large and undeveloped wooded
island that provides privacy for the club complex.
On the west shore of the club is an area
of well-trimmed willow trees, which protect
the harbor, and provides a beautiful view from
the club grounds, enhancing the view from
the Detroit River. The Club property totals
174 acres.

was
designed
to
provide
some of
the more
popular
equipment
available.
There is
a
half-court
basketball
area
next to
the
playground.
