With our modified Regatta weekend nearly upon us, I wanted to share the weekend's schedule of events. One thing to note, our Game Truck scheduled for Saturday 1-4pm cancelled on us. :(
Thursday
6-9 Live Music - Barry Bricky
6-9 New member mixer under tent
Friday
6-9pm - Tony Mendez - outside
9:30pm - Movie Night on South lawn - Captain Ron (rated PG-13)
9:30pm - Bonfire
Saturday
11am - Regatta Sail Race start
2:30pm - Dog Show/Contest at the playground
5:15 pm - Margarita Contest at E Pavilion
6:30pm - Sail Awards under the tent
7-10pm - Sean Z Band
9:30 - Bon Fire
10pm - Movie Night - Jaws (rated PG)
Dog Show info: 2:30pm start at the Playground
Each Dog will get a score sheet that will be filled out at each station. Make sure your dog is on a leash and under control.
Station 1: Dog Height (tallest and shortest) Measured standing from the ground to the top of their back.
Station 2: Number of tricks (use of treats is ok)
Group: Costume contest voted by the crowd
Prizes - Trophies will be awarded for tallest dog, shortest dog, most tricks and best costume.
Margarita Contest - E Pavilion at 5:15
This will run similar to Chili cook off. Everyone gets a score card and you will mark down which one is your favorite. Score cards will be dropped in the bucket at the end of the table. There will be volunteers to hand out score cards and pour tastes.
To enter simply bring a pitcher of your favorite recipe to E around 5pm and sign in. Multiple entries are OK. I will provide cups.
Prizes - Winner will receive a commemorative glass carafe and your recipe will be available at the bar for the rest of the season under your name. Ex - Randy-rita, Chuck-a-rita, Ron-a-rita...etc
